Immune Regulatory Markers in Clinical Cases of COVID-19

Abstract The objective of this research study is to profile anti-viral and pro-inflammatory cytokines, major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I & II molecules cell death markers in clinical cases sepsis. Research design included three patient cohorts namely, COVID-19 with sepsis (C19wSepsis, N=17), no (C19NoSepsis, N=17) alone (N=24). Healthy subjects served as controls (N=16). Serum samples derived from control were analyzed by ELISA for cytokines (IFN-gamma IL-1beta), MHC (MHCA) (MHCDRb1) markers. Data statistical analyses performed using GraphPad Prism 7.0. serum identified a significant increase IFN-gamma, MHCA MHCDRb1 levels C19wSepsis cohort compared C19NoSepsis [p < 0.0001].
